I’m proud to share that my work has earned three Gold EMPixx Awards and one Gold Pixie Award. Book videos get to the core of the book and use video to compel viewers (and readers) to explore further.
The winning book videos include:
Dial M: The Murder of Carol Thompson: “...well executed.”
Good-Bye Bully Machine: “Excellent use of a variety of graphics to tell a compelling story. Well done. Powerful music combined with grabbing images.”
The Middle School Confidential Series: “Good use of graphic novel images to promote a…graphic novel. Excellent pacing and editing.”
Teen Cyberbullying Investigated: “Great use of FX. Well edited. Good use of audio.”
“WELL DONE. The judges were very impressed by your work.”—David E. Carter, The EMPixx Awards
All three books were published by Minneapolis’ Free Spirit Publishing.
